The Main Library provides users with free access to most of the library collections, and the source of information about the Library’s resources is a computer catalogue indicating the location and status of books.
You can switch the language in the top menu of the catalogue (Przełącz Język).
The catalogue can be searched in 3 ways:
- Browsing
- Simple search
- Advanced Search
To properly search for a book to borrow from free access, find the entry „udostępniana na zewnątrz” (shared outside) and then:
Author: Deitel, Paul J. Title: C ++ : how to program / Paul Deitel, Harvey Deitel. ............................................................ Copy: BG – wolny dostęp Call Number: 004.438C DEI C++ 124124 Status: Dostępna Item ID: 124124 Collection Type: udostępniana na zewnątrz
The Call Number will show you where the book is located.
The sets are arranged by fields according to the Universal Decimal Classification. The collections are grouped into nine sections, each of which is marked with a different color of the divider. Each splitter contains a detailed domain symbol and its word equivalent. Each section is divided into further, more detailed subsections. Books are listed alphabetically in the section.
If you have any problem finding a book, ask the librarian on duty for help.
At the time of borrowing items are registered as borrowed and assigned to the reader’s electronic account. Users with access to a computer network can view their own account (here you will find information about the books you have borrowed, their return and renewal dates).
For overdue books, a fee of PLN 0.20 per copy is charged per day.
Keep an eye on the deadline for returning books – you will avoid financial burdens.
